Ben Lerwill es un escritor británico nacido en Oxfordshire, Inglaterra. Es autor de libros infantiles de no ficción y periodista de viajes con más de 25 años de experiencia. Su trabajo ha aparecido en medios como National Geographic Traveller, The Guardian, BBC Travel y The Sunday Times. Tiene dos hijos, cuya imaginación lo inspiró a escribir para niños. Sus obras suelen explorar la naturaleza y el mundo animal, como Wild Family, Stone Age Beasts y Around the World in 80 Trees, este último nominado al Wainwright Prize en 2022. También trabaja en redacción publicitaria y contenido editorial.
