Emma Dodd, nacida en 1969 en Guildford, Inglaterra, es una reconocida autora e ilustradora de literatura infantil. Hija de diseñadores, creció rodeada de arte y estudió en Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, donde se graduó en 1992. Inició su carrera en publicidad y medios gráficos, pero pronto se dedicó a los libros para niños, publicando con editoriales como Orchard Books, Penguin y Scholastic. Su estilo se caracteriza por colores vivos y trazos expresivos, ideales para preescolares. Entre sus obras destacan What Pet to Get?, I Don't Want a Posh Dog y la serie Love You Books.
