Susan Coolidge 1835-1905 , seudónimo de Sarah Chauncey Woolsey, fue una prolífica escritora estadounidense de literatura infantil. Su obra más emblemática es la serie "What Katy Did" Lo que hizo Katy , publicada a partir de 1872, la cual se convirtió en un clásico por su retrato realista y humano de la vida familiar.
