Jon Klassen es un ilustrador y escritor canadiense, nacido en Ontario, Canadá. Antes de dedicarse a los libros infantiles, trabajó en la animación cinematográfica en películas como Coraline y Kung Fu Panda. Su carrera como autor comenzó con el libro Yo quiero mi gorro en 2011, que recibió gran reconocimiento.
