WORTHINGTON SARAH
Sarah Elizabeth Worthington, nacida en 1955 en Barnsley, Inglaterra, es una destacada académica británica especializada en derecho mercantil, societario y equidad. Su infancia transcurrió entre Uganda, Kenia y Australia, donde estudió ciencias naturales antes de cambiar de rumbo hacia el derecho. Obtuvo su licenciatura en leyes con honores en la Universidad de Queensland, completó una maestría en la Universidad de Melbourne y culminó su doctorado en la Universidad de Cambridge con una tesis sobre intereses propietarios en transacciones comerciales. Worthington ha sido profesora en prestigiosas instituciones como la London School of Economics y la Universidad de Cambridge, donde ocupó la cátedra Downing de Derecho. Además de su labor académica, es jueza adjunta en la División de Cancillería del Tribunal Superior británico, tesorera de la Academia Británica y miembro del consejo del Museo Británico.
