THE WORLD OF TIM BURTON - ENGLISH ITALIAN
The volume "The World of Tim Burton" accompanies the major exhibition-the first in Italy-that the National Cinema Museum is dedicating to Tim Burton 1958 . This immersive exhibition offers an exclusive journey into the mind of a creative genius, exploring the director's artistic output, inimitable style, and unique perspective. Divided into nine thematic sections, it presents over 500 original works of art, some never before exhibited, from his early works to his most recent projects: sketches, paintings, drawings, photographs, films, concept art, storyboards, costumes, moving works, maquettes, puppets, and life-size sculptural installations. An evocative setting immerses the audience in the director's extraordinary creative universe. The volume traces the evolution of the singular visual imagination of a multidimensional postmodern artist, in a sort of autobiography told through his limitless creative process. The authorial vision transcends mediums and formats, making clear how ideas, themes, and even some specific images from Tim Burton's art are found in his most iconic films, which today we associate with lavish cinematic spectacle. Texts by: Tim Burton, Jenny He, Domenico De Gaetano, Stefano Bessoni, Giona A. Nazzaro, Luca Beatrice.

BURTON TIM
