Shannon Chakraborty Nueva Jersey, 1985 es una escritora estadounidense de fantasía histórica y ficción especulativa. Convertida al islam, reside en Queens con su familia. Su primera novela, La ciudad de bronce 2017 , inició la aclamada Trilogía Daevabad, traducida a numerosos idiomas y finalista de premios como el Locus y el World Fantasy. En 2023 comenzó la publicación en castellano de sus obras, entre ellas Las aventuras de Amina al-Sirafi, consolidándola como una de las voces más destacadas de la fantasía contemporánea.
