Anthony Ryan Escocia, 1970 es un escritor escocés de fantasía y ciencia ficción. Licenciado en Historia Medieval, trabajó como investigador para el gobierno británico antes de dedicarse por completo a la escritura. Alcanzó notoriedad con Blood Song 2013 , primera novela de la saga Raven's Shadow, protagonizada por Vaelin Al Sorna. Posteriormente publicó las series Raven's Blade, Draconis Memoria y Covenant of Steel, todas ellas con gran éxito internacional y presencia en la lista de los más vendidos del New York Times. Reside en Londres y también escribe bajo el seudónimo A. J. Ryan.
