Jordan Ifueko es una escritora nigeriano-estadounidense de fantasía y ficción juvenil. Nació en 1993 en el sur de California y es hija de padres nigerianos. Su amor por la literatura comenzó desde pequeña, influenciada por los cuentos tradicionales de África Occidental que su madre le narraba.
Su novela debut, Raybearer, publicada en 2020, se convirtió en un éxito de ventas del New York Times y recibió múltiples nominaciones a premios literarios. La historia, inspirada en su herencia africana y diversas culturas del mundo, fue seguida por su secuela, Redemptor, en 2021. En 2024, lanzó The Maid and the Crocodile, una novela independiente ambientada en el mismo universo de Raybearer.
