DE SAINT-EXUPERY ANTOINE
Nació en Lyon, Francia, en 1900. Su carrera como piloto de avión le sirvió de fuente de inspiración como escritor de varios libros y en Buenos Aires conoció a quien se convertiría en su esposa. Es reconocido por su libro más famoso y uno de los más vendidos de todos los tiempos, El Principito 1943 , que fue traducido a más de doscientos cincuenta idiomas. Esta novela, con ilustraciones propias del autor, fue traducida al español por Bonifacio del Carril y su primera publicación en dicho idioma fue realizada por la editorial argentina Emecé Editores en 1951.
