TORDAY PIERS
Piers Torday nació en 1974 en Northumberland, Inglaterra, hijo del novelista Paul Torday. Antes de dedicarse a la escritura trabajó como productor de teatro y televisión, ayudando a contar historias en distintos formatos. En 2013 publicó su primera novela infantil, The Last Wild, que fue finalista del Waterstones Children's Book Prize y traducida a numerosos idiomas. Su secuela, The Dark Wild, ganó el Guardian Children's Fiction Prize en 2014. También completó la novela inacabada de su padre, The Death of an Owl. Ha adaptado obras clásicas como The Box of Delights y vive en Londres con su esposo Will Tosh.
