THE LAST TREE
All too soon they wanted to control the environment and built a huge wooden wall around the community. As they cut down the trees, the forest becomes thinner, until there is just one last tree standing.
EMILY HAWORTH-BOOTH
Emily Haworth-Booth is an award-winning author, illustrator and educator who teaches at the Royal Drawing School in London, England. Alongside her children's picture books, Emily is currently working on a long-form graphic memoir for adults. Her short comics have previously appeared in print in the Observer and Vogue. Along with her sister, Alice Haworth-Booth, she is an activist with Extinction Rebellion.

Emily Haworth-Booth, nacida en Londres, es autora, ilustradora y educadora. Estudió Literatura Inglesa en la Universidad de Cambridge y obtuvo una maestría en Ilustración de Libros Infantiles en Anglia Ruskin University. Sus obras para niños incluyen The King Who Banned the Dark, The Last Tree y PROTEST! How People Have Come Together to Change the World, este último escrito junto a su hermana Alice. Sus libros han sido finalistas de premios como el Waterstones Children's Book Prize y la Kate Greenaway Medal. En 2024 ganó el Mslexia First Novel Prize con su debut adulto MARE, que será publicado por Granta en 2026.
