The King is dead. The kingdom is divided. Three factions - the Scottish, the Welsh, and the English - vie for control and, across the sea, foreign invaders prepare to take advantage of the chaos. Players must marshal their limited resources to influence this power struggle, while ensuring that the faction that rises to dominate the realm favours them above all other claimants to the throne.

SYLVESTER PEER
Peer Sylvester nació en Berlín, Alemania, y es diseñador de juegos de mesa con una trayectoria reconocida internacionalmente. Desde pequeño se interesó por el ajedrez y más tarde se dedicó a la enseñanza de matemáticas y química. Su carrera como autor comenzó en 2007 con König von Siam y desde entonces ha publicado numerosos títulos como Wir sind das Volk!, The King is Dead, The Lost Expedition, Village Green, Polynesia y Brian Boru: High King of Ireland. Ha trabajado con editoriales como Osprey Games y es también autor de libros sobre juegos de mesa, combinando su labor docente con la creación lúdica.
