MEL ELLIOTT
Mel Elliott is a UK based artist and writer. She graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2007. She began designing fun, printed products and has grown her I Love Mel signature into a successful brand which has been featured in several media outlets. She is best known for her contemporary colouring books. Mel lives and works on the south coast of England and her book,The Girl with Two Dads is inspired by her daughter, Pearl.

Mel Elliott es una autora e ilustradora británica conocida por sus libros infantiles que abordan temas de diversidad y familia. Estudió en la Universidad de Brighton y trabajó como diseñadora gráfica antes de dedicarse a la literatura. Su obra más destacada es "La niña que tenía dos papás", inspirada en una experiencia personal con una compañera de escuela de su hija, que tenía dos padres. Elliott busca mostrar a los niños que existen diferentes tipos de familias y fomentar la inclusión desde temprana edad. También ha trabajado en proyectos editoriales y creativos relacionados con la cultura pop y el diseño.
