Steven Cliff Bartlett nació el 26 de agosto de 1992 en Botsuana y creció en Plymouth, Reino Unido. Estudió en la Plymstock School y posteriormente asistió a la Universidad de Mánchester, aunque no completó sus estudios. En 2014 cofundó la empresa de medios sociales Social Chain, donde ejerció como director ejecutivo hasta 2020. Más tarde fundó compañías como Flight Story, Thirdweb y Flight Fund, centradas en comunicación, inversión y tecnología web3. Desde 2021 participa como inversor en el programa Dragons' Den de la BBC. También es autor del libro Happy Sexy Millionaire y creador del podcast The Diary of a CEO, uno de los más escuchados a nivel internacional.
