SMITH GILL
Gill Smith es una ilustradora británica que vive en Liverpool y trabaja principalmente en libros infantiles. Se graduó con distinción en 2019 con un máster en Ilustración de Libros Infantiles en la Cambridge School of Art. Antes de dedicarse a la ilustración, trabajó como maestra de primaria, artista comunitaria y diseñadora. Su estilo se caracteriza por una sensibilidad hacia lo cotidiano y una curiosidad por las experiencias humanas. Ha ilustrado títulos como Saving the Butterfly, Wild y The Appletree Animal Agency, colaborando con autores como Katya Balen y Helen Cooper. En 2023 fue finalista del Premio Klaus Flugge por su trabajo en Saving the Butterfly. También participa en proyectos de ilustración en vivo con el colectivo More Than Minutes.
