Anna Claybourne es una escritora británica especializada en literatura infantil y divulgación científica. Nació en Yorkshire, Inglaterra, y estudió Literatura Inglesa en la Universidad de Oxford y en Toronto, Canadá. Actualmente reside en Edimburgo, Escocia. Comenzó su carrera en la editorial Usborne en 1993 como escritora en prácticas, y más tarde se convirtió en autora y editora independiente.
