Jules Feiffer has won a number of prizes for his cartoons, plays, and screenplays, including the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning. His books for children include The Man in the Ceiling; A Barrel of Laughs, A Vale of Tears; I Lost My Bear; Bark, George; and Meanwhile... He lives in Richfield Springs, New York.

FEIFFER JULES
Jules Feiffer estudió en el Instituto Pratt y comenzó su carrera como asistente de Will Eisner en la década de 1940, colaborando en historietas como The Spirit. En 1956 inició su célebre tira semanal en The Village Voice, titulada Feiffer, que se publicó durante más de cuarenta años y le otorgó reconocimiento nacional. Publicó colecciones de caricaturas como Sick, Sick, Sick en 1958 y escribió más de treinta libros, incluyendo novelas gráficas como Tantrum en 1979 y obras dirigidas a público infantil desde la década de 1990. Su producción teatral incluyó títulos como Little Murders 1967 , Feiffer's People 1969 y Knock Knock 1976 , mientras que en cine escribió guiones como Carnal Knowledge 1971 y Popeye 1980 . En 1961 su corto animado Munro obtuvo un Premio de la Academia y en 1986 recibió el Premio Pulitzer por su trabajo en caricatura editorial. Fue incorporado al Salón de la Fama del Cómic Will Eisner en 2004 y continuó activo en diversas disciplinas hasta entrado el siglo XXI.
