Marie Voigt es una autora e ilustradora alemana especializada en libros infantiles. Tras estudiar diseño de medios y marketing, dejó una exitosa carrera en televisión y diseño gráfico para dedicarse a la literatura infantil. Su primer libro, Red and the City, fue nominado a la medalla Kate Greenaway y al premio Klaus Flugge. Obras como The Light in the Night y Jazz Dog han sido traducidas a más de 23 idiomas y reconocidas internacionalmente. Actualmente vive en España y busca, a través de sus libros, inspirar a los niños y hacer del mundo un lugar más brillante y feliz.
