Laura Hambleton es una autora e ilustradora británica de literatura infantil especializada en el ámbito educativo y de educación temprana. Cursó sus estudios de ilustración en la Universidad de Brighton y posteriormente consolidó su carrera en el sector editorial publicando numerosos libros ilustrados para niños. Es cofundadora de la editorial independiente Milet Publishing, orientada a la literatura infantil bilingüe. A lo largo de su trayectoria ha colaborado activamente con sellos educativos como HarperCollins, creando e ilustrando diversos títulos para la serie de lectura graduada Collins Big Cat. Su trabajo abarca la creación gráfica, el diseño de personajes y la redacción de historias infantiles orientadas al desarrollo de la alfabetización inicial.
