KERR PHILIP
Philip Kerr nació en Edimburgo el 22 de febrero de 1956 y falleció en Londres el 23 de marzo de 2018. Estudió Derecho en la Universidad de Birmingham y trabajó en publicidad antes de dedicarse por completo a la escritura. Fue un reconocido novelista escocés especializado en novela negra e histórica, célebre por la serie protagonizada por el detective Bernie Gunther, iniciada con Violetas de marzo en 1989 y ampliada con la trilogía Berlín Noir. También escribió bajo el seudónimo P. B. Kerr literatura infantil y ciencia ficción. Ganó premios como el RBA de Novela Policiaca en 2009 y el CWA Historical Dagger.
