DANGAREMBGA TSITSI
Tsitsi Dangarembga 1959 nació en la colonia británica de Rodesia del Sur, actual Zimbabue. Su madre, Susan, fue maestra, la primera mujer negra en cursar estudios universitarios en Zimbabue y la inspiración para la trilogía de novelas que incluye Condiciones nerviosas premio Commonwealth Writers 1998 y This Mournable Body finalista del Booker 2020 . Además, Tsitsi ha recibido el Pen Pinter Prize y el Premio de la Feria de Frankfurt. Vivió desde los dos hasta los seis años con una familia blanca en Inglaterra, experiencia que marcaría su desarrollo. Polifacética y errante, estudió medicina en Cambridge, psicología en Harare y cine en Berlín, siendo Neria 1992 y Everyone's Child 1996 dos de las películas más importantes en las que ha trabajado.
