Roderick Hunt es un célebre autor británico, mundialmente conocido por ser el creador de la serie Oxford Reading Tree. Junto al ilustrador Alex Brychta, desarrolló las historias de los personajes Biff, Chip y Kipper, utilizadas en escuelas de todo el mundo para la enseñanza de la lectura. Por su inmensa contribución a la educación y la alfabetización, fue condecorado con la Orden del Imperio Británico MBE en 2008. A lo largo de su carrera, ha escrito cientos de títulos que han ayudado a millones de niños a aprender a leer. Reside en el Reino Unido.
