TESLA NIKOLA
Nikola Tesla nació en Smiljan, Imperio austríaco, en 1856 y falleció en Nueva York, Estados Unidos, en 1943. Fue un inventor, ingeniero eléctrico y mecánico de origen serbio que posteriormente adoptó la nacionalidad estadounidense. Estudió en la Universidad Técnica de Graz y trabajó en Europa antes de emigrar a los Estados Unidos en 1884. Desarrolló patentes clave para el sistema de corriente alterna, la bobina de Tesla y contribuyó al desarrollo de la tecnología inalámbrica y los motores de inducción. Tras colaborar y enfrentarse comercialmente con Thomas Edison, vendió varias de sus patentes a George Westinghouse. Murió solo en una habitación de hotel.
