Crecí en Bolton pero ahora vivo en Cambridge. Trabajo a tiempo parcial en una escuela primaria local como asistente de enseñanza, donde susurro cosas como "Nunca tuve que saber sobre adverbios frontales" a niños pequeños.
Rebecca Patterson es una escritora de libros infantiles. Ha publicado obras como The Deep End y Nightbear, que han sido bien recibidas por el público joven. Su trabajo se inspira en su propia infancia y en la vida de sus hijos, y ha sido reconocida con el Roald Dahl Funny Prize en 2012. Además, estudió ilustración de libros infantiles en la Cambridge School of Art.
