STOLL WALSH ELLEN
Ellen Stoll Walsh nació el 2 de septiembre de 1942 en Baltimore, Maryland, hija de Joseph Adolphus Stoll y Nell Orum. Estudió en el Maryland Institute of Art, donde obtuvo el título de B.F.A. en 1964, y asistió posteriormente a la Universidad de Minnesota entre 1966 y 1969. En 1964 contrajo matrimonio con David Albert Walsh y tuvo un hijo llamado Benjamin Martin. Se desempeña como escritora e ilustradora, trabajando de manera independiente desde 1984 para Houghton Mifflin en Boston. Es miembro de la Authors Guild y de la Society of Children's Writers and Illustrators. Ha recibido premios como el Merit Award del Art Director's Club y el Award of Excellence del American Institute of Graphic Arts.
