ASIMOV ISAAC
Isaac Asimov nació el 2 de enero de 1920 en Petrovichi, Rusia, y emigró con su familia a Estados Unidos en 1923, estableciéndose en Brooklyn. Estudió en la Universidad de Columbia, donde obtuvo el doctorado en bioquímica en 1948, y trabajó como profesor en la Universidad de Boston. Comenzó a publicar relatos de ciencia ficción en 1939 y alcanzó reconocimiento con la serie de la Fundación y obras como Yo, robot. Escribió también divulgación científica y ensayos históricos. Utilizó seudónimos como Paul French. Falleció en Nueva York el 6 de abril de 1992 a los 72 años.
