Sally Jane Morgan Perth, 1951 es una destacada escritora, dramaturga y artista aborigen australiana. Obtuvo reconocimiento internacional con su aclamada autobiografía, "Mi lugar" My Place, 1987 , que narra su descubrimiento de su ascendencia indígena y la historia silenciada de su familia.
Su obra es fundamental para entender la cultura y los derechos aborígenes en Australia, abordando temas de identidad y la historia de las Generaciones Robadas. Además de sus libros biográficos, Morgan ha escrito numerosas obras para niños y ha expuesto sus pinturas en colecciones de todo el mundo. Actualmente dirige el Centro de Historia y Arte Indígena en la Universidad de Western Australia.
