Matthew Ward es escritor británico de fantasía y diseñador de juegos. Durante años trabajó en Games Workshop, donde contribuyó a títulos como Warhammer Fantasy Battles, Warhammer 40,000 y El Señor de los Anillos: El Juego de Batallas Estratégicas. Fue autor de varios códices y reglamentos, incluyendo Codex: Marines Espaciales 2008 y los libros de ejército de Elfos Oscuros, Altos Elfos y Elfos Silvanos.
