Axel Scheffler es un ilustrador cuyas ilustraciones, reconocibles al instante, cálidas e ingeniosas, han alcanzado reconocimiento mundial y numerosos premios. Axel ilustra maravillosos libros de novela, regalo y poesía para Macmillan, como Fish Who Dream of Trees Two Hoots y los superventas The Bedtime Bear, The Tickle Book y Mother Goose's Nursery Rhymes. Además, ilustra algunos de los libros ilustrados más queridos del mundo, incluyendo clásicos modernos como El Grúfalo y El hijo del Grúfalo, que juntos han vendido más de 17 millones de ejemplares en todo el mundo.
