Oliver Jeffers nació en Australia en 1977. Estudió comunicación visual y su obra abarca desde pintura figurativa e instalaciones hasta ilustraciones y libros álbum. Su obra ha sido laureada con varios premios, como el Nestle Children s Book Prize Gold Award, el Irish Children s Book of the Year y el BBC Blue Peter.
