John Yorke 1962 es un productor de televisión, editor de guiones y teórico de la narrativa británico, conocido por su influencia en la ficción televisiva del Reino Unido. Fue jefe de Drama en Channel 4 y controller de BBC Drama Production, donde impulsó series como EastEnders, Shameless, Life on Mars y Wolf Hall. Es autor del influyente libro Into the Woods, sobre la estructura de las historias.
