Jo Witek es una escritora francesa nacida en Puteaux el 4 de septiembre de 1968. Se ha destacado en la literatura infantil y juvenil, con más de cincuenta libros publicados desde 2009. Estudió teatro en París y trabajó en cine, periodismo y narración oral antes de dedicarse a la escritura. Entre sus obras más reconocidas están Así es mi corazón y Tengo 14 años y no es una buena noticia, esta última galardonada con el Premio Babelio Jeunesse 2021.
