Philip Prowse es un autor, profesor y formador docente británico especializado en la enseñanza del inglés como lengua extranjera ELT , con trayectoria profesional en el British Council en países como Egipto, Nigeria y Polonia. Cursó estudios en la Universidad de Cambridge y obtuvo una maestría en Lingüística Aplicada por la Universidad de Leeds; posteriormente dirigió una academia de idiomas en Cambridge y se desempeñó como escritor prolífico de ficción graduada para estudiantes de idiomas y manuales de metodología como Writing for English Language Learners y la serie Cambridge English Readers, además de novelas policiales como The Double Cross.
