SPYRI JOHANNA
Johanna Louise Heusser, conocida como Johanna Spyri, nació el 12 de junio de 1827 en Hirzel, Suiza, hija de un médico rural. En 1852 contrajo matrimonio con Johann Bernhard Spyri y se trasladó a Zúrich, donde comenzó a escribir relatos. Su primera publicación fue en 1871 con fines benéficos para ayudar a refugiados de la guerra franco-prusiana. En 1881 publicó Heidi, su obra más reconocida, inspirada en recuerdos de infancia y relatos familiares, que alcanzó gran difusión internacional y fue adaptada en múltiples formatos. Falleció el 7 de julio de 1901 en Zúrich.
