TJ Klune, cuyo nombre completo es Travis John Klune, nació el 20 de mayo de 1982 en Roseburg, Oregón, Estados Unidos. Es un escritor de ficción, romance y fantasía que se caracteriza por incluir personajes y temáticas LGBTQ en sus obras. Antes de dedicarse por completo a la literatura trabajó como perito de seguros, pero desde 2011 ha publicado numerosas novelas que lo han llevado a ser reconocido internacionalmente. Entre sus títulos más destacados se encuentran La casa en el mar más azul, Wolfsong y Under the Whispering Door. Ha recibido premios como el Lambda Literary Award y el Mythopoeic Fantasy Award.
