Kathryn Selbert es una ilustradora, autora y diseñadora estadounidense especializada en libros infantiles, tarjetas de felicitación y arte para licencias. Nació y creció en la costa de Connecticut, Estados Unidos, y actualmente reside en Montclair, Nueva Jersey, junto a su esposo y su bulldog francés llamado Margot. Se graduó con una Licenciatura en Bellas Artes en Ilustración en la prestigiosa Rhode Island School of Design RISD . A lo largo de su carrera ha recibido diversos reconocimientos, entre ellos el Moonbeam Children's Book Award y el Meggendorfer Pop-Up Book Prize, por obras como Flora: A Botanical Pop-Up Book. Aunque no se ha publicado información oficial sobre su fecha de nacimiento, su trabajo es ampliamente valorado por su estilo encantador y su enfoque creativo en el diseño editorial.
