JOEY CHOU
Joey was born in Taiwan and grew up in Southern California. As a teenager, he found drawings were a far more effective way for him to communicate than words. Later he decided to study illustration at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Now he draws concept art for animated movies and illustrates picture books in Los Angeles.

CHOU JOEY
Joey Chou nació en Taiwán y creció en el sur de California. Desde joven encontró en el dibujo una forma más efectiva de comunicarse que con palabras. Estudió ilustración en el Art Center College of Design en Pasadena, donde se graduó en 2006. Ha trabajado como artista de desarrollo visual en animación para cine y televisión, colaborando con estudios como Disney, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, Warner Bros, Cartoon Network y Netflix. También ha ilustrado libros infantiles como It's a Small World, Say What y Monster and Sons, trabajando con editoriales como Simon Schuster, Chronicle Books y HarperCollins. Su estilo gráfico está influenciado por ilustradores de los años 60 como Mary Blair y Miroslav Sasek.
