GRIMM'S FAIRY TALES - COLLECTOR'S EDITION
The Brothers Grimm rediscovered a host of fairy tales, telling of princes and princesses in their castles, witches in their towers and forests, of giants and dwarfs, of fabulous animals and dark deeds.
This selection of their folk tales was made and translated by Lucy Crane, and includes firm favourites such as Rapunzel, The Goose Girl, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Greteland Snow White. It is illustrated throughout by Walter Crane's charming line drawings.

GRIMM HERMANOS
Los Hermanos Grimm, Jacob 1785-1863 y Wilhelm 1786-1859 , fueron dos eruditos, filólogos y folcloristas alemanes fundamentales en el desarrollo de la cultura europea. Aunque hoy son mundialmente famosos por su colección de cuentos infantiles, su principal labor fue académica y lingüística: buscaron preservar la identidad cultural alemana a través del estudio de la lengua y las tradiciones orales. Jacob fue, además, un lingüista brillante que formuló la Ley de Grimm sobre la evolución de las lenguas indoeuropeas, mientras que Wilhelm se encargó de dar un estilo literario y accesible a los relatos recopilados.
