A heart-warming picture book about a green hippo who struggles with being different and the friends who help him accept his individuality, by award-winning author-illustrator, Petr Horácek.
Green Hippo is feeling sad. Why? Because someone said green hippos don't exist! Frog, Elephant and Giraffe try to cheer him up, but Green Hippo is feeling too down to listen. But maybe Green Hippo will make a discovery of his own as he goes down to the river and sees the beautiful colours of the world all around him...

HORACEK PETR
Petr Horacek nació en Praga, República Checa, y desde joven mostró interés por el dibujo y la ilustración. A los quince años ingresó en la Escuela Superior de Arte de Praga y posteriormente trabajó en una agencia oficial de publicidad. Más tarde estudió seis años en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Praga, donde conoció a su esposa, con quien se trasladó a Inglaterra. Comenzó a dedicarse a los libros infantiles tras el nacimiento de su primera hija y ha publicado numerosos títulos en distintos países. Actualmente reside en Worcestershire con su familia y continúa desarrollando su labor como ilustrador y escritor.
