Kim Hillyard es una autora e ilustradora británica galardonada por sus libros infantiles. Estudió Drama en la Universidad de Exeter y trabajó durante nueve años como periodista musical para medios como NME, Time Out y la BBC. Posteriormente se dedicó a la educación artística, impartiendo talleres y actividades en escuelas y espacios comunitarios. Su primer libro, Mabel and the Mountain, ganó el Sainsbury's Children's Book Award en 2020, y Gretel the Wonder Mammoth fue premiado como Mejor Libro Ilustrado en los Waterstones Children's Prize 2023. Sus obras promueven valores como la empatía, la confianza y la creatividad. Vive en Reino Unido y continúa desarrollando proyectos educativos y literarios.
