Raina Telgemeier es autora e ilustradora de las novelas gráficas Smile, Drama, Sisters y Ghosts, todas ellas número uno en ventas del New York Times. También adaptó e ilustró cuatro versiones en novela gráfica de la serie Baby-sitters Club de Ann M. Martin, y ha contribuido con relatos cortos a numerosas antologías. Entre sus galardones se incluyen tres Premios Eisner, un Premio al Libro del Boston Globe-Horn, un Premio Stonewall y numerosas listas de los mejores y más destacados. Raina vive y trabaja en San Francisco, California.
