MAFI TAHEREH
Tahereh Mafi nació el 9 de noviembre de 1988 en Connecticut, Estados Unidos, en el seno de una familia de origen iraní y es la menor de cinco hermanos. A los 12 años se trasladó con su familia al norte de California y posteriormente al condado de Orange. Estudió en la Soka University of America en Aliso Viejo y pasó un semestre en Barcelona, donde profundizó en literatura española. Habla varios idiomas y en 2011 publicó su primera novela, Destrózame, que dio inicio a la saga homónima. También ha escrito títulos como Furthermore y A Very Large Expanse of Sea. Está casada con el escritor Ransom Riggs.
