Jamie Oliver, cuyo nombre completo es James Trevor Oliver, nació el 27 de mayo de 1975 en Clavering, Essex, Reino Unido. Hijo de Sally y Trevor Oliver, comenzó a trabajar en el restaurante familiar The Cricketers desde niño. Estudió en Westminster Catering College y se formó en Francia antes de iniciar su carrera televisiva. Alcanzó la fama en 1999 con el programa The Naked Chef emitido por la BBC. Ha escrito numerosos libros de cocina y fundado restaurantes como Fifteen y Barbecoa. También ha impulsado campañas para mejorar la alimentación escolar en el Reino Unido. Está casado con Juliette Norton y tiene cinco hijos.
