Matt Dinniman es un escritor estadounidense nacido en Gig Harbor, Washington, autor de la serie LitRPG Dungeon Crawler Carl iniciada en 2019 en Royal Road y publicada luego por Ace Books de Penguin Random House. Su primera trilogía, The Shivered Sky, apareció en 2003 y más tarde publicó obras como The Grinding y títulos de A Dominion of Blades. En 2020 lanzó la primera novela de Dungeon Crawler Carl, convertida en saga con varios volúmenes y audiolibros narrados por Jeff Hays.
