HERBERT FRANK
Frank Herbert 1920-1986 nació en Tacoma, Washington, y trabajó como reportero y posteriormente editor de varios periódicos de la Costa Oeste antes de dedicarse por completo a la escritura. Su primer relato de ciencia ficción se publicó en 1952, pero alcanzó la fama más de diez años después con la publicación en Analog de «Dune World» y «The Prophet of Dune», que se fusionaron en la novela «Dune» en 1965.
