Es considerada la escritora de misterio más famosa del siglo XX y una de las autoras más leídas de todos los tiempos. Publicó más de ochenta novelas y colecciones de cuentos, además de obras de teatro, bajo su nombre y el seudónimo Mary Westmacott.
