Victoria Aveyard nació el 27 de julio de 1990 en East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Estados Unidos. Estudió escritura de guiones cinematográficos en la Universidad del Sur de California, donde obtuvo su licenciatura en Bellas Artes. Es autora de novelas de fantasía juvenil, entre ellas la serie La Reina Roja iniciada en 2015, que incluye varios volúmenes y relatos complementarios. También ha publicado Realm Breaker en 2021 y su continuación Blade Breaker en 2022. Su obra se caracteriza por mundos ficticios con elementos de aventura y política. Actualmente reside en Los Ángeles, donde continúa su carrera literaria.
