Rachel Kushner es una escritora y editora estadounidense nacida en Eugene, Oregón, en 1968. Estudió en Berkeley y obtuvo un máster en Escritura Creativa en Columbia. Ha trabajado en revistas como Grand Street y Bomb, y sus relatos han aparecido en Artforum y The New York Times Book Review. Es autora de novelas como Télex desde Cuba, Los lanzallamas y La sala Marte, reconocidas internacionalmente. Actualmente vive en Los Ángeles.
