Chris Haughton es un diseñador e ilustrador irlandés. Su primer libro ilustrado, A Bit Lost, se ha publicado en 21 idiomas en todo el mundo y ha ganado 13 premios en nueve países, incluyendo el Libro Ilustrado del Año en Holanda y el Libro del Año de la CBI. Su segundo libro, ¡Oh No, George!, ganó el Premio de Diseño Junior y fue preseleccionado para el Premio Kate Greenaway. Su tercer libro ilustrado, ¡Shh!
